Curriculum and Qualifications

At Bay Education we offer each young student an individual and supportive curriculum designed for the young person’s individual needs. We are an educational outreach service provider who work with schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRU) and children’s care home settings to ensure that all young people are accessing high quality education and we have high expectations of all the young people we serve. We achieve best outcomes by putting into place a team of specialist teachers, to ensure young people access education and engage with the provision they need to build a successful life and future for themselves.

We are able to offer teaching across the following qualifications:

At Bay Education, we provide access to the national curriculum and teach to a range of external examinations at a variety of levels, including GCSE, functional skills and vocational awards, certificates and diplomas, which are all recognised nationwide by employers and colleges.

Looked after (CLA)

We specialise in improving the educational outcomes of Children looked After. (CLA) We are dedicated to supporting CLA who are not accessing mainstream education.

Providing meaningful

We understand the importance of engaging with our students and ensure we build the relationships with the students and their settings that ensure best outcomes. We understand that the world of education can be challenging to navigate and ensure that exam concessions and exam entries are completed effectively and that you feel supported and understand all pathways.

DBS
Cleared

All of our tutors are fully DBS cleared and have robust and relevant experience within the teaching profession. In addition, all our teachers have Qualified Teacher status (QTS)

Clear and supportive
communication

Written progress reports are provided on a daily basis for all of our students. In addition with an open-door policy, working positively with parents and carers, we build excellent relationships with Childrens carehomes, families, schools, agencies and keyworkers.
